RTITB will be exhibiting at the Annual FORS Members Conference for the first time in 2019.
Now in its fourth year, the conference is exclusive for FORS members, highlighting the best practices and new regulations that work towards improving driving standards, efficiency and operational performance.
RTITB will be joining fellow FORS Associates at the exhibition, promoting the benefits of the Master Driver CPC Consortium and our new Dangerous Goods Driver Training Consortium for ADR. The RTITB Instructor Academy will also be present, promoting our Instructor and Assessor qualifications for the workplace transport industry.
This year’s event will follow the format of previous years’, with leading figures from across the transport sector delivering expert presentations and providing attendees with an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with FORS experts, network with fellow transport professionals and debate on the important issues of the day.
RTITB are excited to be exhibiting alongside over 400 other leading names at the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX), the UK’s largest logistics event to be held at the NEC, Birmingham on the 24th-27th September 2019.
Taking place every three years, IMHX is a must-attend event offering unparalleled opportunities to see new products, services and solutions and to meet new and existing suppliers for the thousands of logistics professionals that register.
This year we will be launching our revolutionised lift truck (MHE) training accreditation services which will provide employers and commercial training providers with a cost effective way to manage and deliver training whilst maintaining high standards.

The objective of the Master Driver CPC Consortium Induction is to enable instructors to prepare and deliver periodic training to the Master Driver CPC consortium standard.
The course can be completed either by attending a training day in Telford or by sitting an online version of the course and the assessment.
The training day runs for approximately 7 hours (excluding breaks) and is run at The RTITB Academy, Telford, Shropshire on a quarterly basis. The maximum number of attendees is 12.
In order to successfully complete the training day and to be authorised as able to deliver Master Driver CPC Periodic Training the instructors must pass a 20 question assessment at the end of the day or at the end of the online course.
Referral on the assessment will mean that the instructor on the course will not be approved to deliver training through the Master Driver CPC Consortium. The pass mark for this assessment is 80%. The instructor will be allowed one re-attempt at the assessment on the day of the training and if they are then unsuccessful will be required to re-attend the Master Driver CPC Periodic Training Delivery Day.
